Our Christmas decorations journey started in 1974.
We started in 1974 selling hand painted ceramic ornaments at local craft shows. I would sit in the back of the booth painting them as my mother would sell our handmade ceramics. From there the business evolved to a great company called Marie's Ceramics. Where we helped 1000's of people with making ceramic Christmas decorations in Albuquerque, NM. As the hobby ceramic started fading in popularity, we bought out the rights to the Alberta's student ornament line in 1998. Shortly after that other ceramic companies joined our business including the first Ceramic Christmas Cactus which we have now been making for over 35 years.
As life has its way of changing in 2009, I found myself back painting Christmas ornaments for other Christmas shops and companies like Casa Noel. Shortly thereafter I had the opportunity to add a line of sand painted ornaments to my line at which time Skyline Arts was started. As our online sales have grown over the years we started adding more & more Christmas decorations lines to our website. In 2023 with my love of Christmas as I like to call it "The Christmas Car" come to join my home for Christmas! a Santa sleigh red 1908 Red Model T
My passion for Christmas started when I was just a kid. Having a dad that looked like and later played Santa including at the Malls.
I am even starting to look like him.
I love the sounds, sights, smells and the joy that Christmas brings to everyone. I had a dream of doing nothing but Christmas, so we came up with A Christmas Shop. This store is our passion! We want to carry unique merchandise that you cannot find at the big box stores. We carry an awesome collection of rare vintage Christmas. We also carry the latest trends in Christmas. We are excited to be carrying out this love of all things Christmas in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
